Dear Visegrad Found Participants!

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our "Crafting Curiosity. The planned programme of the project meeting:

Day 1: Arrival in Debrecen in the afternoon/evening. Accommodation at the Debrecen Régiposta Guesthouse and Inn (4025 Debrecen, Széchenyi u. 6.) Participants will be met at the airport train station and transferred by car to the accommodation. Hot dinner at the accommodation.
Day 2: Breakfast at the accommodation. Workshop at Medgyessy Ferenc High School from 9:30 am to 3 pm. Hot lunch at the school. From 4 p.m. physics teacher exchange at the Reformed College High School in Debrecen (participants will be transferred by car to the other school and back to the hostel). In the evening hot dinner at the hostel.
Day 3: Breakfast at the accommodation. 10:00 am Workshop at the University of Debrecen: construction of a muon detector, discussion of technical steps, lectures, visits to the University and the Nuclear Research Institute. Hot lunch at the university, car transfer to the university and back to the hostel. In the evening, hot dinner at the hostel.
Day 4: Breakfast at the hostel and return home.


Crafting Curiosity: From Classrooms to CERN 

Supported by the International Visegrad Fund

The main objective of the project: Education and Capacity Building. The project brings together physics teachers from cross-border schools to engage students in hands-on scientific exploration. Teachers will learn how to build a custom detector in workshops, then guide their students through the process, supported by online sessions. The project culminates in a joint field trip, where participants will use detectors to take measurements, deepening their understanding of physics through real-world application.
